Assembly and welding tables

welding tables , and Clever Clamping Technology

Mounting and welding table with perforated panel, Ø 28 mm

Securing, clamping, welding, assembling—you can do it all on RUWI welding tables. You order directly from the manufacturer, a family-owned business with decades of experience in building workshop tables, and get the same clamping technology th RUWI also uses for woodworking.

Which welding table should you buy?

The choice comes down to one question: the base frame. If your workstation is fixed in one place, a single-leg table will suffice—500 kg load capacity on four articulated legs, 86 to 93 cm working height. If you need height adjustment and mobility, go with the welding tablelifting table with a hydraulic foot pump: 46 to 106 cm, 300 kg. Both feature the same perforated grid plate (Ø 28 mm), which you can secure at any grid position using clamping bolt, clamps, and vise grips.

With the right accessories, the 4-mm-thick steel plate can also be used as a clamping table or workbench—for example, for assembly work or welding preparation.

working height and load capacity

You can adjust the hydraulic welding tables using a foot pump continuously from 46 to 106 cm—the base frame functions as a scissor lift table and remains mobile on lockable castors . You can adjust the leg tables with articulated bases between 86 and 93 cm to compensate for an uneven floor in the hall.

Leg tables can support up to 500 kg, while lifting tables can support up to 300 kg. Choose based on the weight of the workpieces you typically use.

hole grid Ø 28 mm and steel plate

With the 28-mm-diameter “ hole grid ,” you can secure workpieces in any position—using 28-mm-diameter “ clamping bolt ,” clamps, screw clamps, or screws. This way, you can use just a few clamping tools to build exactly the clamping setup your workpiece needs.

These same clamps are available with clamping bolt Ø 16 mm. If you already have one of these in your workshop, you can upgrade it with RUWI clamping accessories instead of replacing it.

The work surfaces are made of 4 mm steel with a phosphated finish: heat- and splash-resistant, rust-proof, and providing good adhesion for weld metal.

Expand the workspace

All welding tables tables have a work surface measuring 1,200 × 800 mm—this means a railing panel with the standard post spacing of 1,200 mm fits lengthwise on the table in one piece. For larger projects, place several Leg Tables side by side and align them using the adjustable feet.

The weldinglifting table also complements an existing, larger welding table: If a workpiece extends beyond the table, move the mobile RUWI table into position, lock the castors in place, and use the foot pedal to raise it to the appropriate height.

Clamping devices for the hole grid

You can attach the accessories to the tool-free using a clamp system. The eccentric clampclamping bolt. vertical toggle clamp Press down from above, horizontal toggle clamp and against a stop on the side—for the RUWI table, use the clamping bolt with a Ø 28 mm stop; for tables with 16-mm holes, use the Ø 16 mm stop. If you need more contact surface, use the version with the round adapter plate: vertical toggle clamp and horizontal toggle clamp with clamping bolt Ø 28 mm. For spot clamping, use the TW 16 screw clamp with an adapter disc and clamping bolt.

clamping force supplies the Vario clamping bolts (Ø 28 ) in sets; the Clamping Tool Set 1 and the more comprehensive Set 2 are available as ready-to-use kits.
