Welding tables

Robust welding tables and clever clamping technology

Welding table with perforated plate (28 mm diameter)

Clamping, securing, welding, assembling—you can do it all on RUWI welding tables. You order directly from the manufacturer, a family-owned business with decades of experience in building workshop tables, and get the same sophisticated clamping technology that sets RUWI apart in woodworking as well.

Which welding table should you buy?

Two questions will help you make the right choice. First, the base: If the workstation stays in one place, a leg-type table is sufficient. If you need height adjustment and mobility, choose the welding lift table with a hydraulic foot pump. Both feature a perforated grid plate (Ø 28 mm), allowing you to secure workpieces at any grid position using clamping bolts, clamps, and vices. If you already have a table, simply add the welding table top.

With the right accessories and its sturdy steel top, the welding table can also be used as a clamping and workbench—for example, for assembly work or welding preparation.

What to look for when buying

Working height

You can use a foot pump to adjust the height of the hydraulic welding tables continuously from 46 to 106 cm—the base is designed as a lifting table or scissor lift table and remains mobile. Leg tables with an articulated base can be adjusted between 86 and 93 cm.

Load capacity

Leg tables can support up to 500 kg, and lift tables up to 300 kg. Choose based on the weight of the workpieces you typically handle.

Hole pattern Ø 28 mm

You can secure workpieces in any position on the 28 mm diameter hole pattern using clamping bolts (16 mm or 28 mm diameter), clamps, screw clamps, or screws. This way, you can use just a few clamping tools to create exactly the clamping setup your workpiece needs.

Work surface

All welding tables have a work surface measuring 1,200 × 800 mm—ideal for precision welding work. For larger projects, place several tables side by side and align them using the adjustable feet.

Material

The work surfaces are made of 4 mm steel with a phosphated finish: heat- and splash-resistant, rust-proof, and providing good adhesion for weld metal.

The welding lift table also complements an existing larger welding table: If a workpiece extends beyond the table, simply move the mobile RUWI table into position, lock the casters, and use the foot pedal to raise it to the appropriate height.

Clamping devices for the perforated panel

You can attach the accessories tool-free using the clamping system. Eccentric clamps with clamping bolts (Ø 16 or Ø 28 mm) are used for quick clamping. Vertical clamps press down from above, while horizontal clamps press sideways against a stop—both available in Ø 16 and Ø 28 mm. For spot clamping, use the TW 16 screw clamp with an adapter disc and clamping bolt.

The Vario clamping bolts (Ø 28 ) provide clamping force in a modular system; pre-assembled options include Clamping Tool Set 1 and the more comprehensive Set 2 —a convenient way to get started with the basic equipment.
