The RUWI positioning angle is a fixed stop for the welding table – you place your workpiece against it and have a defined edge that prevents it from slipping. Using the clamping bolt , you can position the angle bracket (80 × 60 × 40 mm, steel galvanised and black-oxide) at any position on the hole grid; the stop screw (M8 × 30 mm) defines the contact point with its Ø-30 surface and adjusts to the height of the workpiece.

When used in combination with a clamp, this creates a secure hold: The positioning angle provides resistance, while horizontal toggle clamp applies pressure from the other side—allowing you to clamp workpieces repeatedly in exactly the same spot.

Here's how to use it

  • Set the stop: Insert the bolt into the grid, tighten the bracket—the reference edge is in place, and the workpiece is flush against it before the clamp engages.
  • Repeatable in series production: The angle acts as a counterhold, the clamp presses down—each part sits in the exact same spot, seam after seam.
  • Adjust the height: the stop screw rotates to match the workpiece height—even flat parts can be machined along their edges.

Does this go with your table?

When ordering, select the version that fits your hole grid: clamping bolt Ø 16 mm or Ø 28 mm, for tabletops 4 mm thick or thicker. From above, the vertical toggle clamp, which is quickly secured using the lever on the eccentric clamp; the RUWI welding tables. For tables with a 20-mm grid, the positioning angle is available for the 20-mmhole grid.
