The idea behind it
Jörg Hezel
The RUWI welding table -Top slot is a 1,200 × 800 mm worktop made of 4 mm-thick steel—without base frame —for anyone who already has a base or is setting up their own workstation. Using the continuous 10-mmslots , you can position clamping jaws, clamping devices, and stops tool-free exactly where you need them— continuously —without being restricted to fixed drill holes. The surface is phosphated: This keeps rust at bay, withstands welding heat and flying sparks, and ensures a secure hold on the welding material. Manufactured in Germany, approx. 46 kg.
The sides of the table are chamfered and also feature a " slots "—which allows you to clamp workpieces from the side as well. Underneath the tabletop, welded corners and a bolted-on stiffening cage ensure that the surface remains level.
Here's how to use it
- Turn the woodenlifting table into the welding table : by attaching the RUWI lifting table -base frame to it, the panel becomes a height-adjustable welding station—one base frame, two trades.
- continuously Instead of clamping into the grid: the clamp slides along the slot with millimeter precision to the joint—no need to move from hole to hole.
- Lateral clamping: The “ slots ” in the chamfered sides allow the clamping devices to grip the edge as well—the workpiece is secured in both directions.
- Setting up your own workbenches: Mounted on a sturdy custom frame, the tabletop becomes a fully functional welding and assembly table—the frame must support the 46 kg plus the weight of the workpiece.
Does this go with your base frame?
The tabletop fits directly onto the RUWI lifting table - base frame —together, this creates the mobile, height-adjustable welding table, which is also available as a complete package RUWI welding table slot lifting table ; with fixed legs, it’s thewelding table slot leg table. The clamping system set for the slot-welding table includes the necessary clamping accessories; as an hole grid alternative, there’s the welding table top Ø 28.
