The RUWI vertical toggle clamp holds your workpiece from above on the welding table – a toggle clamp for the Ø-28 and Ø-16hole grid. Using the clamping bolt , you can secure it at any grid position; with a length of 244 mm, it comfortably extends over workpieces that you want to hold down during welding, tack welding, or assembly. When ordering, select the bolt that matches the grid: Ø 16 or Ø 28 mm.

The stepless height adjustment of up to 40 mm compensates for varying material thicknesses without requiring you to change settings. When opened, the arm automatically retracts 35 mm, releasing the workpiece—the changeover is quick, especially during production runs.

Here's how to use it

• Hold it down while tack welding: the sheet metal is firmly secured to the table; keep both hands on the torch and the filler material rather than on the workpiece.
• Batch processing: Open the lever, the arm lifts 35 mm, change the part, close the lever—the height setting remains the same; only the workpiece changes.
• Clamping materials of varying thicknesses: The 40-mm shim accommodates both 4-mm sheet metal and 40-mm profiles one after the other without having to adjust the spindle.
• Combine it with the family: the “ vertical toggle clamp ” holds it from above, the “ horizontal toggle clamp ” presses against it from the side, and the eccentric clamps it in rhythm—the workpiece is secured on all sides.

Does this go with your welding table?

The Ø 28 mm version fits into the hole grid of the RUWI welding tables (material thickness of 4 mm or more—the phosphated RUWI welding table tops meet this requirement); the Ø 16 mm version fits into tables with a 16 mm grid. Compatible tables include the mobile welding table lifting table and the stationary welding table leg table.
