RUWI table extension For Mafell Erika

The RUWI table extension is a foldable, height-adjustable support for the Mafell Erika 70 and 85 under-table rip saws. It clamps tool-free directly onto the Erika’s dovetail profile—without an additional adapter—and extends the support surface far enough to prevent long workpieces from tipping over the edge of the table during cutting.

The anodized aluminum support (150 mm wide) is secured by a galvanized steel bracket. Unfold the support leg and adjust the height tool-free between 66 and 106 cm—this ensures the extension fits flush with the machine table. The support surface features three T-slots s (8 mm): You can secure clamps such as the Festool FSZ and Bessey GTR in them to use as stops.

It comes in two lengths: short (about 77 cm) and long (about 104 cm). When folded, the extension fits into an XXL Systainer and can be hung on the wall using the built-in hook to save space.

Here's how to use it

• Cutting long workpieces: Boards, strips, and slats rest in front of and behind the saw blade—nothing tips over the edge of the table; you guide the material instead of holding it.
• Position it anywhere: the clamp grips the surrounding dovetail profile—on the left, right, front, or back, depending on where support is needed.
• Setting stops: Secure the clamps (Festool FSZ, Bessey GTR) in the three T-slots —as a length stop for repetitive cuts.
• Extend the surface: Combine multiple extensions in a row or side by side until the support surface matches the length of the workpiece.
• On the job site: Fold up the support leg , place it in the XXL Systainer, and, once at the work site, adjust the height so it’s flush with the machine table again.

tool-free 's extension fits the dovetail profile of the Mafell Erika 70 and 85—no adapter is needed with the Erika. Regarding length options: Short (about 77 cm) is sufficient for moldings and small formats and is easier to handle during transport; Long (about 104 cm) provides more support for doors and long cuts. The clamping mechanism, height adjustment, and slots are the same for both.

On other tables and machines—such as the Festool MFT—the extension attaches using the separate mounting adapter. For the RUWI drill press and router tables , as well as the mounting rail , use the version for the mounting rail instead; non-slip pads for the slots are included in the set support rails.
