Where is the RUWI drilling table used?

The drilling table is useful wherever you need a larger support surface and want to carry out drilling tasks safely, repeatably and efficiently. In short: almost everywhere! A few examples:

• Drilling series parts made of wood, metal or plastic on the fence:
  You can quickly set the drilling position to the desired dimension using the lasered measuring scale. Tip: The table extension also serves as a stacking aid for series parts.
• Processing long, large parts:
  With the table extension, you can increase the workpiece support surface to the left, right or to the front.

• Drilling small, tricky parts:
  You fix clamps or a machine vice in the grooves of the drilling table without tools so that you don't have to hold the workpiece by hand - this significantly reduces the risk of accidents.

Does the drill table fit on my drill?

Thanks to the grooves in the mounting adapter, our drill table offers many connection options to a wide range of upright and bench drills, drill stands or even smaller milling machines. Detailed assembly instructions including screws and threaded plates are included.

However, due to the wide range of machine types, it is possible that the screw length/diameter or the groove plate may not fit. In such cases, you can use existing sliding blocks or suitable nuts with washers.

How is the drilling table mounted?

Align the fastening element of the RUWI drill table on the mounting table of the drill stand or bench drill. Then screw the fastening adapter into the transverse or cross-shaped T-slots of your drill using at least two screws and sliding blocks. Then connect the RUWI drill table to the fastening element using four hexagon socket screws (SW4). This one-off assembly (approx. 10 minutes) increases work safety, repeat accuracy and effectiveness when drilling.
