Accessories

The RUWI horizontal toggle clamp with adapter plate presses your workpiece horizontally against a stop or a second workpiece—the version designed for the 16-mmhole grid. Using two clamping bolt , you can insert it into the 16-mm holes on welding tables and clamping plates and tighten it with the hex key—two anchor points keep it from twisting, even when it’s applying lateral pressure. The round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) with slotted holes allows you to freely position the pressure point.

The swivel pad lies flat even on sloped and uneven surfaces, and the clamping pressure is adjustable. The stroke compensation accommodates up to 35 mm, 13 mm of which automatically without readjustment—with a length of 253 mm, the clamp can also reach clamping points further inside.

Here's how to use it

  • Securing assemblies for tack welding: two parts pressed against each other or against a stop—the joint is gap-free before the first spot is set.
  • Clamping beveled edges: the " swivel pad " lies flat against the contour—the pressure is applied to the surface, not the edge.
  • Series without readjustment: the 13 mm automatic stroke compensation accommodates varying part dimensions—open the lever, change the part, close the lever.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the slotted holes in the adapter plate slide the continuously clamp between the grid holes—the pressure is applied exactly where it should be.

The two clamping bolt Ø 16 mm fit into welding tables and clamping plates with a 16-hole grid. For the Ø 28 grid of the RUWI welding tables , there is the horizontal toggle clamp with a clamping bolt; from above, the vertical toggle clamp holds the adapter plate Ø 16.
