Tips from the Workshop – for Your Woodworking Projects

You know your craft. Here, we share what we’ve learned in our own workshop about working with wood — so you can master a technique more quickly and cleanly, or make a decision with greater confidence at router table .

The focus is on milling and everything related to it: in-phase and out-of-phase cutting, slots, profiles, and face milling with a router. This includes topics such as drilling clean holes in wood or the process from CNC to the finished part. Each article addresses a practical question and explains it step by step.

We openly discuss the strengths and limitations of a method and sometimes recommend taking the easier route instead of reaching for the next tool. We’re not trying to sell you anything here—we just want you to be able to do more afterward than you could before.

By the way, you can also find our tools at select specialty retailers—check out our "Workshop Talk" for an overview.

Browse through the posts and pick out whatever you need right now. If something is missing or if you have a question about your workshop—get in touch; we're happy to help.
