Accessories

With the 120-cm-long RUWI support rail , you can expand and organize the work surface of your slot table. The non-slip surface keeps workpieces in place—often without any additional securing—during sanding and edge finishing. It’s easy to install tool-free: Two clamping brackets with quick-release clamps secure the rail to any 8- to 10-mmslot.

The rail is made of galvanized steel (40 × 40 mm profile, 2.3 kg), and the support plate is 8 mm thick. The surface also serves as a sawing surface: If you set the cutting depth of your circular saw too deep even once, the cut will score the surface instead of the table top. If the surface wears out over time, simply stick on the self-adhesive replacement surface —the rail stays in place.

Here's how to use it

  • Sanding without a clamp: The workpiece rests on the non-slip surface and stays in place due to friction—simply flip it over and continue sanding without having to re-clamp it.
  • Cutting panels safely: Place two rails under the panel to serve as a saw guide—the circular saw cuts into the panel, not into the table.
  • Expand your work surface: the rail can extend beyond the edge of the table—long workpieces can rest on it without tipping over.
  • Attach clamps to the ends: The open steel end caps protect the ends and accommodate rail clamps such as the Bessey GTR or Festool FSZ.

Does this go with your table?

The clamping brackets fit into any 8- to 10-mmslot – on the RUWI drilling table Classic and Premium, the table extension for the mounting rail, as well as clamping plates and tables with this groove size. The Bessey GTR is suitable as a clamp for the cover caps.
