Accessories

The RUWI vertical toggle clamp with adapter plate secures your workpiece from above on the welding table . Using two clamping bolt , you can mount it in the 28-mm holes of welding tables and clamping plates with a material thickness of 4 mm or more, and tighten it with the hex key—two anchor points keep it from twisting, even when lateral forces are applied. The round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) with slotted holes allows you to freely position the pressure point.

The spindle-mounted " swivel pad " lies flat even on sloped surfaces, and the clamping pressure is adjustable. The automatic " stroke compensation " accommodates material thicknesses up to 35 mm without readjustment; a maximum of 40 mm is possible—with a width of 40 mm clamping range and a length of 244 mm, the clamp easily spans panels, frames, and individual parts.

Here's how to use it

  • Hold down while tacking: the workpiece rests firmly on the table; keep both hands on the torch and the filler material.
  • Clamping slanted and uneven parts: the swivel pad lies flat against the contour—the pressure is applied vertically to the workpiece, not to the edge.
  • Batches without readjustment: the 35 mm automatic stroke compensation accommodate varying material thicknesses—open the lever, change the part, close the lever.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the slotted holes in the adapter plate guide the continuously tensioner between the grid holes—the pressure is applied directly to the joint, not beside it.

Does this go with your welding table?

The two clamping bolt Ø 28 mm fit into the hole grid of the RUWI welding tables and other Ø 28 systems (material thickness 4 mm or greater). For tables with an Ø 16 grid, the same model is available in an Ø 16 version; if a single anchor point is sufficient, the version with a clamping bolt is the sleeker solution.
