Accessories

The RUWI eccentric clamp clamps your workpiece using an eccentric lever—a lever mechanism instead of a screw. This is quick and particularly useful when you need to clamp and release many identical parts one after another. You install it via the clamping bolt into the hole grid of your welding table and align it using the adapter plate ; when ordering, select the bolt that matches the grid: Ø 16 or Ø 28 mm.

The eccentric (100 × 44 mm) generates the clamping force via the “ pivot bearing ” (Ø 30 × 20 mm), while the “ adapter plate ” (180 × 40 mm) ensures a secure fit on the plate. All parts are made of steel— galvanised , and black-oxide —which are spark-resistant and corrosion-resistant in everyday welding applications.

Here's how to use it

  • Batch clamping and welding: Flip the lever, the part is in place—flip the lever back, next part. For recurring assemblies, the eccentric mechanism activates each screw clamp in sequence.
  • Hold the position instead of searching for it: Bolts and adapter plate define the clamping point on the grid—every part in the series is positioned in the same spot.
  • Aligning the pressure point: Use the M6 threaded hole on the adapter plate and the pivot bearing to adjust the eccentric to match the workpiece contour.

Does this go with your welding table?

The Ø 28 mm version fits into the hole grid of the RUWI welding tables (material thickness of 4 mm or more—the phosphated RUWI welding table tops meet this requirement); the Ø 16 mm version fits into tables with a 16 mm grid. Compatible tables include the mobile welding table lifting table and the stationary welding table leg table.

The Ø-28 grid also accommodates the other clamping tools: the TW 16 screw clamp, Ø 28 Vario clamping bolts, as well as vertical and horizontal toggle clamp; the RUWI welding tables.
