Which clamps fit the drilling table?
The Clamp Finder shows you the right clamping accessories for the drilling table.
The RUWI Drilling Table Classic upgrades your bench or pillar drill into a drilling station with a stop and clamping system. You can mount the clamping plate (450 × 400 mm), made of galvanized sheet steel, onto the machine table using the included mounting bracket; the slot clamping system allows you to secure workpieces, stops, and clamping devices tool-free in any position.
The anodized aluminum fence rail (720 mm) features a laser-etched scale. You can adjust the two folding stops with fine-tuning to within a tenth of a millimeter—and fold them up when you’re not using them. This allows you to drill rows, pot hinges, or connectors at consistent intervals without having to mark them out each time. A splinter guard that can be used on both sides is located beneath the drilling point: It supports the exit edge and protects the drill bit tip by preventing it from hitting the steel plate.
Here's how to use it
- Drilling rows of holes at consistent intervals: Set the measurement using the laser-etched scale, position the folding stop—cabinet shelves, rows of holes, and hardware holes will all be in the same position without having to mark them again.
- Drilling hinges and connectors: Fine-tune both hinged stops and test them one at a time; the stop you're not currently using is folded up and remains in position.
- Setting up clamping devices: Machine vise, vertical and horizontal toggle clamp are mounted tool-free in the slot clamping system—the clamping point moves along with the task.
- Drill without chipping: the chip guard supports the exit edge, and the milled zero line helps align the drilling point. When it wears out, simply replace it; it’s available separately as a replacement part.
Does this fit your drill?
The drilling table is compatible with bench and pillar drill presses as well as drill stands. It is secured to the machine table using the included mounting bracket; the plate measures 450 × 400 mm and weighs 8.9 kg net weight.
The Classic is the version without the table extension. If you often drill into long workpieces such as doors or stair stringers, go with the RUWI Drilling Table Premium —it comes complete with the height-adjustable table extension and mounting rails. You can also upgrade later: RUWI table extension plus mounting adapters.
