The folding stop complements the RUWI stop rail on the drilling table —either as a replacement or as an additional third stop. It comes fully assembled with slot nut; when ordering, choose the left or right version.

The anodized aluminum block slides freely within the ruler’s “ slot ” and is secured using the tool-free quick-clamping system. You can fold the galvanized steel stop up and down; use the fine-tuning mechanism to adjust the stop position with tenth-of-a-unit precision.

Here's how to use it

Boring in batches in furniture making: Once adjusted to the drilling spacing, the stop ensures that every workpiece is positioned in the same place—simply fold it away to slide the workpiece through; the setting remains the same.
Set the third position: Move to another recurring drilling position in addition to the two stops on the ruler—for example, when drilling rows of holes with varying spacing.
Replace the stop: A damaged or lost stop can be replaced individually, without having to buy a whole new ruler.

Does this fit your marking ruler?

The folding stop fits into the " slot " slot on the RUWI 720-mm stop ruler—and thus onto the drilling table Classic, the drilling table Premium, and a drilling table Basic that has been retrofitted with the ruler.

About choosing a variant: The left version functions as a left stop, and the right version as a right stop—the folding mechanism and fine adjustment are the same for both. Simply choose the side you want to replace or add.
