The RUWI positioning angle provides you with a right-angle reference edge on the drilling table . You align your workpiece with the angle and drill it in the same orientation every time—this keeps the holes perpendicular and ensures repeatable positioning. Using the eccentric quick-release clamp (Ø 30 mm), you can mount it tool-free into the slot and move it freely.

The open steel angle (80 × 40 × 60 mm, laser-engraved and galvanised) has two slotted holes through which you adjust the burnished stop screw M8—this allows you to set the attachment point to the desired measurement, secured with two nuts on each side to ensure it stays in place.

Here's how to use it

  • As a fixed support: the workpiece rests against the angle bracket, while a clamp or vise applies pressure from the other side—this prevents it from shifting during drilling.
  • Aligning parts in a series: Once the angle is set to the correct measurement, each part is positioned in the same spot—align, drill, next part.
  • Combine it with the marking ruler: the ruler determines the longitudinal position, and the angle ensures a right-angle alignment—together, they create a drilling pattern with consistent repeatability.
  • Fine-tune the contact point: The M8 screw in the slotted holes adjusts the contact point millimeter by millimeter—once locked in place, the setting remains consistent across the entire series.
