The RUWI horizontal toggle clamp , featuring adapter plate and quick-release clamps, presses your workpiece horizontally against a stop or a second workpiece—laterally on the drilling table, for example, when drilling end holes in moldings and narrow furniture parts. Using two eccentric quick-release clamps (Ø 30 mm), you can mount it tool-free into the slot; the round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) with slotted holes allows you to freely position the pressure point.

The infinitely adjustable stroke compensation , with a range of up to 35 mm, accommodates varying material thicknesses; when opened, the clamp automatically retracts 13 mm and releases the workpiece. The eccentric quick-release clamps, with a 14 mm clamping range , fit into groove widths of 8 to 10 mm—simply flip the lever instead of screwing.

Here's how to use it

  • Drilling holes in the end faces of strips: The narrow piece is pressed against the stop, and the drill hits the end face—without holding the workpiece with one hand.
  • Running through a series of holes: Open the lever, set to 13 mm automatic return stroke, move the part, close the lever—the series of holes runs through without the need for readjustment.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the slotted holes on the adapter plate guide the clamp continuously to the workpiece contour—the pressure is applied exactly where it should be.
  • tool-free Procedure: Loosen both eccentrics, move the clamp to the next groove position, close the eccentrics—the setup tool remains in the drawer.
