Here's what's included
• 1 × mounting rail 330, 430, or 530 mm, depending on the model
• 2 × socket screw M8 with spacer sleeves and nuts
With the RUWI mounting rail , you can securely attach a RUWI table extension to a stationary machine—such as band saws, table saws, planers, and similar equipment. The solid square bar made of phosphated steel is mounted to the side of the machine table using the two included M8 cylinder screws with spacer sleeves; you then attach the extension to support long workpieces.
The rail is available in three lengths—330, 430, and 530 mm—to accommodate different machine widths. When ordering, select the length that matches your machine table.
Here's how to use it
- Long boards on the band saw: the attached extension supports the board behind the saw table—it doesn't tip over, so you guide it instead of holding it.
- Set up a fixed support station: Once bolted in place, the rail stays attached to the machine—you can attach and detach the extension in seconds.
- Building wide supports: two extensions fit side by side on a rail—for cutting panels and working with wide workpieces.
- One extension, multiple machines: with a rail on each machine, the same table extension moves to wherever it’s needed at the moment.
Will this fit your machine?
The rail accommodates RUWI table extensions and also accommodates the AIGNERtable extensions . When installing, be sure to maintain a 10 mm height offset relative to the machine table so that the attached extension is flush with the surface—installation requires two M8 holes in the table frame.
If you want the extension to stay in place without drilling, use the mounting adapter instead, which clamps onto tabletops and profiles tool-free .
