The RUWI vertical toggle clamp with adapter plate holds your workpiece from above on the drilling table – a toggle clamp for the RUWI groove clamping system. Using two eccentric quick-release clamps (Ø 30 mm), you can tool-free mount it into the slot and align it; the round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) with slotted holes allows you to freely position the pressure spindle.

The height adjustment accommodates material thicknesses up to 40 mm, 35 mm of which are adjusted automatically without the need for readjustment. The eccentric quick-release clamps secure materials with a 14 mm clamping range e in groove widths ranging from 8 to 10 mm—simply flip the lever instead of screwing. With a length of 244 mm, the clamp easily reaches across panels, frames, and individual parts.

Here's how to use it

  • Hold the workpiece down while drilling: the workpiece rests firmly on the table, and both hands remain on the machine and the guide—especially when working with small parts that would otherwise rotate along with the drill.
  • Batch production without readjustment: the 35 mm automatic height adjustment accommodates varying material thicknesses—open the lever, change the part, close the lever.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the slotted holes on the adapter plate guide the spindle continuously to the drilling location—the pressure is applied right next to the drill bit, not just anywhere.
  • tool-free Procedure: Loosen both eccentrics, move the clamp to the next groove position, close the eccentrics—the setup tool remains in the drawer.

The clamp is designed for groove widths of 8 to 10 mm: the slot clamping system in the RUWI drilling tables (Basic, Classic, Premium), RUWI welding tables with slot , and other groove tables in this size. The horizontal toggle clamp with adapter plate presses against a stop on the side; for tables with 20-mmhole grid instead of slot , there is the vertical toggle clamp for the 20-mmhole grid.
