The RUWI machine vise securely clamps small workpieces and metal parts to your drilling table . Using the two included quick-release clamps (Ø 30 mm), you can mount it tool-free onto the slot – simply flip the lever instead of screwing it in, and adjust it just as quickly. The clamping range is 120 mm with a jaw width of 130 mm and a jaw height of 35 mm.

Using the smooth-operating screw, you can adjust the clamping force from light to firm—allowing you to clamp delicate parts as well as larger, heavier components. Weighing 7.5 kg net weight , and measuring 334 mm in length, the vise sits firmly on the table; its 69 mm height keeps the workpiece close to the table surface.

Here's how to use it

  • Drilling metal parts: Flat bars, pipes, and fittings are clamped between the jaws—the part cannot rotate while being drilled through, and your hands stay away from the drill.
  • Precise, controlled clamping: The spindle applies pressure gradually—thin-walled and small parts are held securely without being crushed.
  • Change position in a single cycle: release both eccentrics, move the vise to the next groove position, and close the eccentrics—no setup tool required.
  • Drilling in series: Once aligned, the vise remains a fixed clamping station—each part is positioned in the same spot.

Does this go with your table?

The quick-release clamps (clamping range , 14 to 26 mm) fit into the 8- to 10-mmslot of the RUWI drilling tables (Basic, Classic, Premium) as well as on clamping plates and other slotted tables. One important limitation: The upper flange of the slot opening must be no more than 7.5 mm thick; otherwise, the quick-release clamps won’t engage—check this on your table before ordering.

Workpieces without a vise are held from above by the vertical toggle clamp, and from the side by the horizontal toggle clamp with adapter plate.
