Brief description

Carbon brushes are wear parts: they transmit electricity to the motor’s armature and wear down over time. This set includes two replacement carbon brushes for the drive motor of the RUWI Basic, Classic, and Premium router tables. If you replace them in a timely manner, the motor will continue to run smoothly—rather than producing increasing sparks and losing power.

The replacement takes just a few minutes. It’s a good idea to replace the carbon brushes proactively when production volumes are high, before worn-out brushes damage the commutator. You can find the right motor in the RUWI drive motor section. The Classic Performance model has its own replacement carbon brush set —this one is not compatible with its 1,600-watt motors.
