Brief description

The RUWI router table drive motor, with 1,050 watts of power, is the original motor installed in all standard models of the RUWI router table series—Basic, Classic, and Premium. It serves as a replacement for a motor that has reached the end of its useful life after years of workshop use, or as an additional drive unit if you’re expanding your table.

1,050 watts at 230 V with stepless speed control from 8,000 to 25,000 rpm. The speed remains constant under load—that’s what makes the difference in profile milling: no drops in speed, no burn marks, and a clean cut. Soft start with current limiting, double ball bearings with dust-proof return thread. Standard collet Ø 8 mm (optional 6 / 6.35 / 10 mm), maximum tool diameter 40 mm. Spindle neck Ø 43 mm – the common standard size for router motors. Manufactured in Germany.

You can find the right table in the RUWI Basic, Classic, or Premium router tables. A replacement carbon brush set is available as a wear part for this motor. The more powerful 1,600-watt motor in the Classic Performance is a separate model and is not covered here.
