Plastic insert ring for RUWI router table , Basic, Classic, Premium

The plastic insert ring is the wear part in the lid of the RUWI router tables Basic, Classic, and Premium models: You press the ring—Ø 46 mm, made of machinable PE—into the lid opening via a press fit, without any screws. During the first start-up, the cutter expands the opening to match its own outer diameter—the gap between the lid and the tool is reduced to zero. You’re probably familiar with this principle from the insert plate on a table saw.

This results in two benefits in everyday workshop operations: Small and narrow workpieces can no longer tip over or get wedged in the gap—providing greater safety and cleaner edges at the milling site. And because there’s hardly any clearance around the milling cutter, the exhaust system works more effectively right there.

Here's how to use it

• Milling delicate parts: Molding strips and small parts run along the closed surface—nothing falls into the gap, and the edge doesn't chip.
• One ring per cutter: For standard tools, there’s a milled ring in the cabinet for each one—just press it in, and the zero clearance is restored immediately.
• Tool-free replacement: just remove the old ring and press in the new one—at this price, this ring belongs on every reorder list.

Does this go with your router table?

The ring fits into the lids of the Basic, Classic, and Premium models. For the Classic Performance, use the Performance insert ring (Ø 85 mm) —the two are not interchangeable.
