Is the router table Classic Performance a good fit for your work?
The configurator asks about your workpieces, your tools, and your available space—and shows you which router table is the right fit. Even if it’s a different model.
The RUWI router table Classic Performance is the more powerful version of the Classic—designed for professionals who regularly work with large profile cutters or heavy-duty materials. It features three 1,600-watt motors instead of 1,050 watts, accommodates tools up to Ø 55 mm instead of Ø 40 mm, and has a standardcollet Ø 12 mm.
The extended speed range from 3,500 to 30,000 rpm operates at low speeds for large profile cutters and at high speeds for fine tools—with “ soft start ” (constant speed under load) and “ inrush current limiting ” (designed for continuous operation). The steel spindle (Ø 22 mm) with return thread and double bearings features reinforced guidance and additional clamping to ensure that even large tools run vibration-free. The steel collet can be adjusted to Ø 3 to 12.7 mm, including inch sizes (1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″)—suitable for imported profile cutters. The dual dust extraction system above and below the table top (connection Ø 120 mm) is standard. GS-certified (DGUV Test), tested for wood dust, developed and manufactured in Germany.
Another feature that sets the Performance apart: Fine height adjustment is standard on all three drive units—accurate to 0.1 mm, at no extra charge, and without the need for a retrofit kit. This allows you to mill drawersslots, furniture joints, and profile parts to exact dimensions right from the start.
Here's how to use it
- Heavy-duty milling in solid wood: Profile cutters up to Ø 55 mm with 12-mm-shank —when run at low speed, the reinforced spindle guide ensures smooth operation.
- Carpentry and stair construction: shaping handrails, rounding off stair treads, installing deep slots —tasks that push 1,050-watt motors to their limits.
- Perfectly Fitted Connections: With 0.1-mm fine adjustment, drawer slides and furniture joints fit perfectly the first time—no need to mill test-fits to get the right dimensions.
- Running imported tools: Inch-sized shanks (1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″) clamp directly onto the corresponding collets —no adapter, no compromise on concentricity.
- Reducing the load on CNC and spindle milling machines: Finishing operations and small-batch production are done by hand while the large machines are in operation.
- Training: GS-certified (DGUV Test) and tested for wood dust—also suitable for training workshops, vocational schools, and companies that provide on-the-job training.
Does this fit in your workshop?
The table measures 640 × 500 mm with a height of 910 mm working height and rests on four castors with brakes—the 102 kg unit rolls into place and then locks securely. Exhaust connection Ø 120 mm for your exhaust system. An important limitation: The three drive units cannot be upgraded to accommodate more spindles—if you need five to ten tools at the same time, choose the RUWI router table Premium.
If standard tools and 1,050 watts are enough for you, the RUWI router table Classic is the more affordable option; for beginners, there’s the Basic model with a single spindle.
