The idea behind it

The normal height adjustment of our milling tables is completely sufficient for most jobs - this was important to us from the outset. But for some milling operations, sometimes you just need that extra tenth of a millimeter of precision. That's why we developed the fine adjustment - initially for new tables and now also as a retrofit kit. It is often enough to equip just one or a few drive units with it to achieve the difference between "just right" and "perfect".

Brief description

The RUWI fine-tuning system upgrades the height adjustment of your router table to allow for adjustments accurate to a tenth of a millimeter. Using a stainless steel knob with a laser-etched 1/10-mm scale, you can fine-tune the router height—for perfectly fitting grooves, rebates, and profiles, and for consistent dimensions in production runs. You don’t have to upgrade every spindle: Often, a single drive unit with fine adjustment is sufficient for operations where precision down to a tenth of a millimeter matters.

The retrofit kit is compatible with all RUWI milling tables in the Basic, Classic, and Premium models that were delivered starting in 2024 (available for sale starting in October 2024). On the RUWI Classic Performance milling table, fine adjustment is included as standard on all three spindles—no retrofitting is necessary.
