Carbon brushes are wear parts: They transmit electricity to the motor’s armature and wear down over time. This set contains two replacement carbon brushes for the 1,600-watt drive motor of RUWI router table Performance. If you replace them in a timely manner, the motor will continue to run smoothly—rather than experiencing increased sparking and a loss of power.

The replacement is done in just a few minutes. A preventive replacement is worthwhile for high production volumes, before worn carbon brushes damage the commutator. This set is designed for the more powerful Performance motor – there's a separate replacement carbon brush set for the Basic, Classic, and Premium models.
