The Premium (five-spindle) model can be expanded to up to ten spindles—ideal for shops that process many profiles without changing tools.

The models in detail

RUWI Basic Milling Table (1 Spindle)

The Basic is the entry-level model, featuring a drive unit and a 520 × 430 mm work surface—ideal for smaller workpieces or as a portable addition to tight workshops. It handles all standard milling tasks, from chamfering and rounding to flush milling; two transport casters make it easy to move around.

RUWI Classic Milling Table (3 spindles)

The Classic features three router motors (1,050 W each) on a 640 × 500 mm table. Frequently used router bits remain permanently clamped, which reduces setup time—a proven all-rounder for trade, training, and small-batch production. Four lockable casters make it fully mobile.

RUWI Classic Performance Milling Table (3 spindles, more powerful motors)

The Performance model also features three spindles, but with motors rated at approximately 1,600 W and a speed range of 3,500 to 30,000 rpm. Collets up to 12 mm in diameter accommodate larger cutters, the 55 mm cutting stroke provides space for thicker workpieces, and fine adjustment is standard on all three spindles. The model for higher demands on performance and repeatability.

RUWI Premium Milling Table (5 spindles, expandable)

The Premium is equipped with five motors (1,050 W each) on a 1,070 × 500 mm platform and can be expanded to up to ten spindles—enabling machining operations without any tool changes. Despite its size, it remains mobile thanks to four swivel casters. Suitable for high-volume production facilities and industrial settings to make use of downtime in manufacturing.

The RUWI milling motor

Each router table is equipped with a “Made in Germany” router motor designed for continuous use—with 1,050 or 1,600 W, depending on the model. The stepless speed control (8,000–25,000 or 3,500–30,000 rpm) allows you to adjust the cutting speed to suit the material. Soft start and overload protection prevent jerky starts and keep the speed constant under load; a counter-rotating return thread protects the bearings from dust, while the double ball bearings ensure smooth, quiet operation.

As a guide for the speed: sanding a softwood edge (Ø 15 mm) at around 8,000 rpm to remove burn marks, flush-milling multiplex (Ø 19 mm) at 18,000–22,000, cutting a Lamello groove in particleboard (Ø 40 mm) at a maximum of 18,000, and rounding or chamfering plastic edges at around 12,000 to prevent the material from smearing.

Rated power 1,050 W (Standard) or 1,600 W (Performance)
Operating voltage 220–230 V / 50 Hz (grounded plug)
Speed Standard 8,000–25,000, Performance 3,500–30,000 rpm
Soft start Yes, with inrush current limiting
Clamping neck 43 mm
Standard Collets 8 mm diameter, or 6 / 6.35 / 10 mm
Performance Collets Ø 12 mm, or 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 8 / 10 mm
Storage double ball bearings, counter-rotating return screw

Dual dust extraction

The router table extracts dust and chips right where they’re produced—above and below the tabletop. The 120-mm connector fits both stationary and portable extraction systems; the extraction unit moves toward the active router motor, and dividers in the lower channel prevent air leakage. An automatic start function that activates the extraction system when the router is turned on is available as an option. This protects your respiratory system, keeps the workpiece and workshop clean, and reduces dust exposure to the motor and electronics. The extraction system is DGUV-certified.

Suction connection 120 mm diameter
Airflow approx. 170–230 m³/h at 20 m/s
Negative pressure (20 m/s) < 1.000 Pa

Accessories and Upgrades

The milling table is modular: Almost everything can be added later as your needs grow.

Fine adjustment

Adjusts the cutter height in 0.1-mm increments. Standard on all three motors for the Classic Performance model; available as a retrofit kit for the Basic, Classic, and Premium models (model year 2024 and later).

Additional drive units

The Premium model is specifically designed for this purpose: it can be expanded with up to five additional drive motors, bringing the total to ten spindles. Mounting points and GFCI outlets are pre-installed, and the Classic and Basic models can also be expanded to a limited extent.

Table extension

For larger workpieces, you can attach the table extension to the side or front without tools—using the appropriate mounting kit. The table remains mobile.

Stop and guide systems

The straight guide rail enables straight-line operations (chamfering, grooving, rounding), with fine depth adjustment on the Classic and Premium models. The curved guide rail mills inner and outer radii with stepless adjustment, while the 3D unit processes multi-curved parts using two movable workpiece supports.

Collets and small parts

Collet chucks in various sizes and hardened locknuts hold the cutters securely in place; the plastic spacer ring reduces the gap around the cutter for safe work on small workpieces. Replacement carbon brush sets are available for the Basic, Classic, and Premium models, as well as a set for the Performance model.

Anyone who works with the RUWI milling table

In craft workshops (carpentry, joinery, interior finishing) for small batches and one-off pieces—chamfering, rounding, grooving, and copy milling without constant retooling; space-saving and rollable away; and as a supplement to stationary routers or CNC machines. In industry (furniture manufacturing, mass production) for parallel operation alongside CNC systems for finishing, with continuous-duty motors for shift operation. In educational institutions, where trainees learn various milling techniques on a GS- and DGUV-certified machine. And in motorhome, caravan, and model building, as well as in plastics processing for a mix of materials including wood, plastics (Plexiglas, Makrolon, GRP), and aluminum.

"Made in Germany" quality and safety

RUWI manufactures its products in Fluorn-Winzeln, Baden-Württemberg. The high degree of vertical integration enables strict quality controls; every milling table is inspected before shipment and complies with the relevant EU standards (CE, GS, BG/DGUV certifications). The frame and table are made of steel or torsion-resistant aluminum profiles; the motors are industrial-grade drives with soft start, PTC protection, and low vibration. Safety is ensured by protective hoods, tool covers, insert rings, and dual extraction.

Why choose a RUWI router table instead of a traditional router table?

The key difference is the multi-spindle design: multiple cutters are ready for use at the same time, which significantly reduces setup time. Added to this are its mobility on casters and its compact design. Traditional stationary spindle milling machines have an advantage when it comes to very large milling heads, but they require more space and involve a more complex setup process. For frequently changing milling tasks and smaller batch sizes, the RUWI milling table is the more practical solution.
