The idea behind it

The standard height adjustment on our router tables more than sufficient for most projects—that was important to us from the very beginning. But for some routing operations, you sometimes just need that extra tenth of a millimeter of precision. That’s why we developed the fine-tuning feature—initially for new tables and now also as a retrofit kit. Often, equipping just one or a few drive units with this feature is enough to make the difference between “good enough” and “perfect.”

Brief description

The RUWI upgrades the height adjustment of your router table to allow for adjustments accurate to a tenth of a millimeter. Using a stainless steel knob with a fine thread and a laser-etched 1/10-mm scale, you can fine-tune the router height—for precisely fitting slots, grooves, and profiles, and for consistent dimensions in production runs. You don’t have to upgrade every spindle: Often, a single drive unit with fine adjustment is sufficient for the operations where precision down to a tenth of a millimeter matters.

The retrofit kit is compatible with all RUWI router tables Basic, Classic, and Premium models manufactured on or after October 2024. On router table RUWI router table Performancerouter table , fine adjustment is included as standard on all three spindles—no retrofit is necessary for this model.
