Accessories

The drive unit is a complete, ready-to-install milling head for your RUWI router table – a motor with height adjustment and locking mechanism all in one unit; two mounting screws are included. This allows you to add an additional spindle to your table: another tool permanently clamped in place, without the need for retooling. On the Premium model, mounting points and power outlets for up to ten drive units are pre-installed at the factory, allowing for retrofitting without any modifications.

1,050 watts at 230 V with stepless speed control from 8,000 to 25,000 rpm; the electronics provide soft start, constant speed under load, and inrush current limiting. The double-ball-bearing steel spindle (Ø 22 mm) with return thread runs smoothly and keeps dust away from the bearing; tools up to Ø 40 mm. Standardcollet , Ø 8 mm (optional: 6 / 6.35 / 9.5 / 10 mm); fine adjustment (item no. 10450) is available as an aftermarket upgrade. Manufactured in Germany, 5.8 kg.

Here's how to use it

  • Eliminate tool changes: rounding cutter on spindle one, grooving cutter on spindle two—you switch workstations at the table, not the tool in the collet.
  • Batch processing: Each workpiece passes sequentially through the fixed spindles—zero setup time, settings remain unchanged.
  • Add them one by one: the second spindle today, the third next year—the Premium model can accommodate up to ten, and each one is secured with two screws.

Does this go with your router table?

This unit is compatible with theRUWI router table Classic as a replacement for an existing spindle, and with the Premium model for expansion to up to ten spindles. If you only need the motor without height adjustment as a replacement, the RUWI 1,050-watt drive motor is the more compact choice.
