The clamping bolt Ø 28 mm, with a matching washer (Ø 40 mm), secures adapter plates, brackets, and threaded plates to perforated panels with 28-mm holes. When tightening the galvanized socket screw (SW 6), the burnished steel bolt locks firmly into the hole—this clamping mechanism protects the hole wall instead of cutting into it. Like the entire RUWI Steel Line, the bolt is manufactured in Germany.

Here's how to use it

• Anchoring fixtures: The angle bracket and adapter plates fit precisely into the hole—the clamping position is exactly where the seam requires it.
• Consistent assembly: the same bolt in the same hole results in the same position—mass-produced parts are clamped without the need for realignment.
• Set as a point reference: The bolt alone defines a reference point in the grid—position the workpiece, clamp it, and tack it in place.
