The idea behind it

With large or heavy workpieces that are clamped on the sides, the weight rests on the lifting table and can become unstable in extreme cases. The workpiece supports safely transfer the weight to the floor—and when they’re not needed, they can be quickly folded inward with a single motion. It was important to us to develop a uniform, straightforward solution for all of our lift tables.

RUWI ' workpiece supports come in pairs and support large workpieces that you secure laterally in the clamping profile of your lift table. Otherwise, a long or heavy part would hang from the table by its lever and could throw it off balance—the lowerable support roller absorbs this weight and transfers it to the floor. The table remains stable, allowing you to work more smoothly.

If you don’t need the support, simply slide the roller upward, secure it with the clamping lever , and fold the support pad tool-free inward—it’s a one-step process that requires no tools. The powder-coated steel frame (275 × 250 × 48 mm per element) with a rubber pad can support up to 100 kg when the support rollers are lowered, distributed across both pads.

Here's how to use it

  • Clamping long workpieces on the side: The door or board is suspended in the clamping profile, and the support rollers bear the excess weight—no tilting moment on the table, no need for a second person at the end.
  • Switching between tasks: Roll up the edge, close the “ clamping lever ,” and reposition the support inward—the table is clear again for surface work in seconds.
  • Protect delicate edges: the rubber pad supports the workpiece without scratching the veneer or painted surfaces.
