Is the lifting table Classic a good fit for your work?
The configurator asks about your workpieces, your workflow, and your available space—and shows you which lifting table is the right fit. Even if it’s a different model.
The RUWI lifting table Classic is a scissor lift table with an extendable work surface—the two extensions expand the table from 1,600 × 800 mm to up to 2,200 × 800 mm. This configuration is ideal for long workpieces: doors, stair stringers, solid wood planks, or multiple projects running in parallel that all require space at different times.
The work surface is made of multiplex with an HPL coating on both sides—scratch-resistant and easy to clean. 128 chamfered holes (Ø 20 mm) spaced at 96-mm intervals turn it into a clamping station: clamps, clamping bolts, stops, and support rails can be positioned exactly where you need them. The height adjusts fr continuously ly from 530 to 1,130 mm via the hydraulic foot pump—effortless even under load, with no need for a power connection. Load capacity up to 300 kg; the hydraulic system is repairable, and the foot pump is manufactured in Germany.
The idea for the side clamping profiles came from real-world experience: Using the slot , you can easily attach a screw clamp and apply vertical clamping force—for example, when drilling end faces or gluing corner joints. Directly beneath the panel is a drawer with an open storage compartment for clamping tools and accessories.
Here's how to use it
- Gluing long workpieces: Doors, stair treads, and cabinet sides rest completely flat on the extended surface—up to 2,200 mm—allowing you to apply clamps without the ends hanging over the edge.
- As a mobile clamping station: Drilling, grinding, assembly—clamps and clamping bolts move along the 20-mm-hole grid , performing their tasks as needed.
- Clamping perpendicular to the side profile: Bessey GTR clamps and identical clamps grip the “ slot ”—the workpiece stands upright for end-face drilling instead of lying flat.
- Continue using your existing accessories: the 20-mm grid aligns with the established standard—clamping devices from Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, and other 20-mm tables are compatible across brands.
- Working at working height : The infinitely adjustable height range from 530 to 1,130 mm brings every task to waist height—installing trim at the bottom, mounting hardware at the top, all without bending over.
- Organization at the workbench: A drawer and a storage compartment keep clamping tools within easy reach—no need to go halfway around the workshop to get them.
Does this fit in your workshop?
The table stands on four lockable solid rubber casterscastors (Ø 100 mm)—pick up the workpiece, roll it to the machine, and engage the brakes. The scissor-type frame, made of welded rectangular steel tubing, can support up to 300 kg.
If the fixed surface area of 1,200 × 800 mm without pull-outs is sufficient for you, the RUWI lifting table Basic is the more affordable option. If you want a second fold-out perforated panel (approximately 1,600 × 1,200 mm when unfolded), check out the RUWI lifting table Premium; if you want to install your own panel, use the RUWI lifting table - base frame as a base.
