The idea behind it

Brief description
Tool changes are the biggest time-waster on any router. You rout an edge flush, then need the rounding bit, followed by the groove cutter—and every time, you have to remove the tool, re-clamp it, adjust it, and test it. The RUWI Classic Router Table solves this in the simplest way possible: three router motors on a single table, each with a permanently clamped tool. Finish one, move it along, and keep going.
Three router motors, each with 1,050 watts, manufactured in Germany. You can adjust the speed continuously from 8,000 to 25,000 rpm, with soft start and inrush current limitation. The steel spindle (Ø 22 mm) with a counter-rotating return thread keeps dust out of the bearings; the double-bearing design ensures smooth, quiet operation during profile routing. Table size 640 × 500 mm at a working height of 910 mm – plenty of room even for longer workpieces. GS-certified (DGUV test) and wood dust-tested. The dual dust extraction system above and below the table top (connection Ø 120 mm) is standard on RUWI machines, not an optional extra.
The Classic is our best-selling router table model in the woodworking and interior finishing industries—and built to outlast generations of woodworkers. Some Classic router tables have been in use for over 20 years in the same workshops. At the Schwarzwälder woodworking shop in Königsfeld —a family business since 1928—there is a Classic in the workshop, used, among other things, for post-processing after CNC machining.
If you only need one spindle, the RUWI Basic Milling Table is the better choice. If you want five to ten spindles, check out the RUWI Premium Milling Table. If you use cutters with larger shanks and higher power ratings, the RUWI Classic Performance Milling Table is the more powerful option, featuring 1,600-watt motors.
Possible applications
- Three cutters in use simultaneously—for example, a rounding cutter, a chamfering cutter, and a grooving cutter. No changeover, no readjustment, no test cuts
- Edge and profile work on furniture components, doors, stairs, and solid wood elements
- Mass production of edge profiles, grooves, and recessed handles without any downtime between components
- An add-on to the CNC milling machine for finishing work and special cuts that aren't cost-effective to do on the CNC machine
- Mobile milling station – rolled on four swivel casters with brakes to wherever milling is needed
- Also suitable for training workshops, vocational schools, and companies that provide on-the-job training – GS-certified (DGUV-tested) and tested for wood dust
