Precision and efficiency on the pillar drill
The RUWI Premium drill table can be quickly and easily mounted on the machine tables of box column drills. Useful accessories such as a vice, clamping and stop elements can be freely positioned and clamped without tools. The two folding stops can be positioned anywhere on the stop ruler and folded up if not required. A fine adjustment screw enables the stop position to be adjusted to a tenth of an inch. This can be set conveniently and with repeatability on the lasered scale.
In the middle area, where the drill could hit the drill table, there is a splinter guard that can be used and replaced on both sides. This prevents the drill or the drilling table from being damaged if the workpiece is (accidentally) drilled through.
If long parts have to be processed, the new RUWI table extension that is part of the set can be hung on the left, right or front of the mounting rails. The foldable support foot is continuously adjustable from approx. 72 – 107cm in height. If necessary, 2 or more table extensions can be mounted one behind the other. The adapter for this is already integrated. Multifunctional grooves in the upper surface enable the insertion of screw clamps or RUWI quick-action clamps to fix stops or the workpieces.
Alternatively, Aigner table extensions also fit on the mounting rails of the drill table .
The tool-free and quick fixing, adjustment and dismantling of the stop and clamping elements helps to make work on the drill safer and more efficient.
