Is the " lifting table " Premium a good fit for your work?

The configurator asks about your workpieces, your workflow, and your available space—and shows you which lifting table is the right fit. Even if it’s a different model.

The idea behind it

Normally as compact as a Euro pallet, you can easily double the work surface in a single step. Our special clamping system makes your work a breeze: either lock it quickly from below or clamp it comfortably from above. By the way: That’s exactly how it’s set up in our own workshop, too.

Reiner Ruggaber

The RUWI lifting table Premium is the model with a fold-out hole grid panel—a mobile, height-adjustable workstation. In everyday use, it’s as compact as a Euro pallet at 1,200 × 800 mm; with a single motion, you can fold out the second panel to create a 1,600 × 1,200 mm surface—no tools required. Sometimes it’s a compact workbench, other times a large surface for doors and cabinet bodies. That’s exactly how it’s set up in the RUWI workshop.

The multiplex panel, coated with HPL on both sides, can support up to 300 kg. When fully extended, 192 chamfered 20-mm-diameter holes provide space for the RUWI clamping system and standard 20-mm accessories—lock from below or clamp from above. You can adjust the height from 570 to 1,170 mm using the hydraulic foot pump continuously —from a comfortable sitting position to standing height, without needing a power connection; the hydraulic system is repairable, and the foot pump is manufactured in Germany. Four lockable solid rubber casterscastors (Ø 100 mm) make it mobile, and the drawer under the tabletop keeps tools within easy reach.

Here's how to use it

  • Placing doors and cabinet bodies: Fold out the panel, use the 1,600 × 1,200 mm area, then fold it back to pallet size—the large surface is there when you need it and out of the way when you don’t.
  • Gluing and assembly: Clamps and tensioners move along the 192 grid holes in the order of the gluing sequence—locked from below or tensioned from above.
  • Work while sitting or standing: the infinitely adjustable height range from 570 to 1,170 mm lets you set the work surface to your height—install hardware while standing, do precision work while sitting.
  • Moving heavy parts: Parts weighing up to 300 kg roll through the workshop on the castors —apply the brakes, then get back to work.
  • Keep tools right at your desk: the drawer under the tabletop saves you a trip to the workbench.

Does this fit in your workshop?

The package includes the " base frame " and the "Premium" top section with a drawer. The " support rails," clamping brackets, and clamps are not included as standard—you can purchase them separately as "lifting table" accessories, preconfigured in the "Premium Set" with four " support rails," or as part of the fully equipped " Clamping Technology Package."

If you don't need the fold-out second panel, the RUWI lifting table Classic (extendable up to 2,200 mm) and the RUWI lifting table Basic (fixed surface) are a bit slimmer; the lifting table overview provides a summary.
