Brief description

The flush trim bit protruding edges flush with a reference surface—whether you’re tracing a template or trimming edge banding and veneer overhangs. Instead of soldered-on cutting edges, it features two carbide indexable inserts: When one cutting edge becomes dull, simply rotate the insert 180° to reveal a fresh edge. If both sides are worn, replace the insert—no need to send it to a sharpening service, and no downtime.

The guide ball bearing (Ø 19 mm) is matched to the cutting path and guides the router bit along an edge or template. The router bit is double-edged, right-hand rotation, with an outer diameter of 19 mm and a cutting length of 30 mm—enough to cut through thicker workpieces in a single pass. The shank mm shank fits in hand-held routers, bench routers, and the RUWI router table.

The large 19-mm head delivers high cutting speed and a clean cut—especially on straight and wide contours. It’s too large for tight inner radii; for those, use the flush trim bit a smaller guide bearing (Ø 9.5 mm). You can find more milling tools in the RUWI , and the matching tables in the RUWI section.

Applications

  • Flush trim edges and overhangs to the reference surface – for edgebanding, veneer, and template contours.
  • Template copying with high cutting speed and a clean finish.
  • Indexable inserts: rotate dull cutting edge 180° or replace – no sharpening service needed.
  • Guide bearing (Ø 19 mm) guides along the edge or template.
  • For softwood, hardwood, and coated panels.
  • shank for hand-held router, RUWI router table bench router
  • For tight inner radii, select a flush trim bit a smaller guide bearing (Ø 9.5 mm)
