3D milling unit for RUWI milling table

Brief description

The 3D milling unit transforms your RUWI milling table into a free-form milling station. Using movable swivel supports, you can safely guide curved, contoured, and irregular workpieces along the cutter—the supports follow the contour rather than holding the workpiece rigidly in place. This allows you to machine shapes that cannot be milled with a fixed stop.

The unit comes with its own drive—1,050 watts, steel spindle with return thread, cutting depth up to 43 mm, collet Ø 8 mm. It is mounted on the side of the housing and can be retrofitted: Using the factory-installed Schuko outlets and mounting points, you can install it in just a few simple steps. As a “3D milling unit,” it is part of the GS certification (DGUV test) and wood dust testing for the RUWI milling table system. Compatible with the Basic, Classic, and Premium models.
