Brief description
The guide rail is the guide stop for your RUWI router table: it allows you to guide the workpiece precisely past the router bit—for grooves, rebates, profiles, and chamfers. The guide is made of anodized aluminum and is attached using the tool-free quick-change system, allowing it to be moved freely across the table top.
Two 300-mm-long stop jaws can be adjusted horizontally and vertically, allowing you to precisely match the opening to the cutter diameter. A clamping device holds the workpiece against the stop and the table, while two stops for plunge cutting limit the feed for stop grooves and recesses.
The Classic and Premium models feature a tool-free fine depth adjustment: You can fine-tune the stop—which is important when planing solid wood moldings and in any situation where consistent measurements are essential. The Basic model does not include this fine adjustment feature.
Choose the model that fits your table: RUWI Basic Router Table, RUWI Classic Router Table, or RUWI Premium Router Table. You can equip the RUWI Classic Performance Router Table with the Classic model—it has the same table surface (640 × 500 mm) as the Classic. For outer and inner radii, add the RUWI Arc Ruler, which mounts directly to the guide rail. When you’re done, hang the ruler on the back of the machine, where it’s stored to save space.
