RUWI Classic RUWI

Brief description

The RUWI Classic RUWI is the perforated panel for the RUWI lifting table —available separately for woodworkers who already base frame a compatible base frame or are building their own structure and only need the work surface. Multiplex with HPL coating on both sides, extendable continuously from 1,600 × 800 mm continuously to 2,200 × 800 mm, 128 holes (Ø 20 mm), with side clamping profiles and a drawer directly under the top.

The extension primarily serves as workpiece support: when pulled out, you can support long parts – like doors, stair stringers, or glued laminated timber beams – during gluing, drilling, or sanding. The double-sided HPL coating makes the panel scratch-resistant and moisture-resistant, balances out tensions to keep it flat, and glue won't stick to it – cured residues simply peel off, making the panel a clean gluing surface.

The 128 chamfered holes in a 96-mm grid follow the established 20-mm standard—accessories from Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, or other 20-mm tables can be used interchangeably. You can clamp workpieces to the table edge using the side clamping profiles: The slot compatible with the Bessey GTR all-steel table clamp and clamps of the same design. The built-in drawer keeps clamping tools, clamps, and support rails .
