RUWI Classic Table Top

Brief description

The RUWI Classic Tabletop is the perforated panel for the RUWI Classic Lift Table—available separately for woodworkers who already have a compatible base frame or are building their own structure and only need the work surface. Multiplex with HPL coating on both sides, extendable from 1,600 × 800 mm to up to 2,200 × 800 mm in continuous increments, 128 holes (Ø 20 mm), with side clamping profiles and a drawer directly under the top.

The extension is primarily designed to support workpieces: when extended, you can support long pieces—such as doors, stair stringers, or laminated wood planks—while gluing, drilling, or sanding. The extendable extensions follow the 20-mm grid, so you can clamp workpieces far to the outside, not just rest them on the surface. The HPL coating on both sides makes the panel scratch-resistant and moisture-resistant, compensates for tension so that it remains flat, and prevents glue from adhering to it—cured residues simply flake off, making the panel a clean gluing surface.

The 128 chamfered holes spaced at 96 mm intervals follow the established 20 mm standard—accessories from Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, or other 20 mm tables can be used interchangeably. You can clamp workpieces to the table edge using the side clamping profiles: The groove is compatible with the Bessey GTR all-steel table clamp and similar clamps. The integrated drawer keeps clamping tools, clamps, and support rails within easy reach.
