The idea behind it

This HPL-coated top (120 x 80 cm) is just right if you want to give your lift table a high-quality upgrade. The robust HPL coating is not only extremely scratch-resistant, but also insensitive to glue or solvents - simply wipe it over and you're done. The precise 20 mm hole pattern is precisely CNC-milled and compatible with Festool and many other clamping systems. This saves you time-consuming self-drilling and gives you perfect accuracy, whether for gluing or clamping. By the way: Even colleagues with their own CNC often prefer to use this plate - for the price, it really makes work easier.

Brief description

The RUWI Basic HPL Perforated Panel is the perforated top for the RUWI Basic Lift Table—available separately for woodworkers who want to upgrade their existing lift table with a perforated top, replace a worn-out panel, or equip their own base frame with a professional-grade work surface. Table size 1,200 × 800 mm, multiplex with 4 mm thick HPL coating on both sides – significantly thicker than the usual 0.8 mm coating on standard workshop tops and correspondingly more durable. The coating on both sides balances out tension, ensuring the top remains flat.

96 chamfered holes, 20 mm in diameter, spaced 96 mm apart, precisely CNC-milled. This dimension is the established standard for hole patterns—96 mm is three times the 32-mm system used in cabinetry. Bolts, bench dogs, and clamps fit snugly with no play, and repeated machining maintains dimensional accuracy. The holes are pre-drilled—saving you the time-consuming task of drilling them yourself. The HPL surface is scratch-resistant, moisture-resistant, and resistant to solvents—and glue does not adhere to it: Cured residues flake off, making the panel a clean surface for gluing and assembly.

Using the 20-mm grid, you can secure workpieces with clamping bolts, bench dogs, and quick-release clamps, and work with the guide rail at the stop. Standard 20-mm accessories—such as Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, or RUWI clamping elements —are universally compatible. The format corresponds to the RUWI Basic lifting table.
