The idea behind it

The drawer provides additional storage space right at the workstation. This way, tools, short support rails , and clamping accessories have their own place and are always within easy reach.

The drawer provides storage space for your XL workstation right where you work: tools and clamping accessories are within easy reach under the tabletop instead of on a shelf on the wall. It’s mounted on the front of the table using the two included guide rails—a full-extension drawer made of anodized aluminum that allows the drawer to slide out completely, so you can reach even the farthest corner.

The box itself is handcrafted from screen printing plate and measures 880 × 275 × 120 mm on the inside—enough space for quick-release clamps, clamping bolt, clamps, and the hand tools you’ll need for the day. The screen printing plate can handle the rigors of everyday workshop use: it’s sturdy, wipe-clean, and resistant to wood shavings and dust.

Here's how to use it

  • Clamping mechanisms beneath the grid: the bolts and clamps on the XL panel are located directly beneath the holes they fit into—with the handle pointing down instead of toward the wall.
  • All the way to the very back: the full-extension drawer pulls the cabinet all the way out—even items at the back are within easy reach without having to rummage around.
  • One-step retrofit: Screw two guide rails onto the front, insert the box—and the XL table has its storage space.

Does this go with your table?

The drawer is designed to match the Classic XL tabletop and is therefore compatible with the RUWI lifting table Classic 300 XL and Classic 400 XL Akku. One distinction: The smaller Classic tabletop (160 × 80 cm) comes with its drawer already installed at the factory—this one is the retrofit part for the XL sizes. Additional accessories are available in the lifting table system.
