Brief description

The RUWI Basic router table is the entry-level model in the router table series—featuring a 1,050-watt motor, manufactured in Germany, on a compact table surface measuring 520 × 430 mm. For woodworking shops where space is limited, for self-employed professionals who want to start with a single spindle and expand later, or for pros who need a portable router for construction sites and assembly work.

The motor is permanently mounted—not a hand-held router that can get jammed, but a spindle designed for continuous operation. Stepless speed control from 8,000 to 25,000 rpm, soft start, and constant speed under load. The steel spindle with return thread and double bearings runs smoothly and is dust-protected, with a milling stroke of up to 43 mm, a standard collet Ø 8 mm, and tool change from above. GS-certified (DGUV test) and wood dust-tested. The dual dust extraction system above and below the tabletop (connection Ø 120 mm) is standard on the RUWI series, not a special request.

What makes the Basic special is its built-in tilting chassis: Instead of four swivel casters like on the larger models, you simply tilt the table backward and push it like a hand truck—through doors, up and down stairs, to the construction site, and back to the workshop. Weighing just 57 kg, you can do this all by yourself. If you want to upgrade the Basic later, you can add modular components: a stop ruler, table extension, or fine adjustment —all from the same system.
