Our tools and machines are built to last. We use only high-quality components and have gained extensive experience in preventing problems in the workshop. That’s why we have no issues with warranty claims—even if they extend beyond the 2-year warranty period. We’re always looking for a good solution that works for both of us.

We have 100% of our replacement parts in stock.

Solid structural lumber with a 100-profile, full-thickness wood-fiber insulation boards, sandwich panels, block steps: The K 105 cuts 110 mm freehand and 104 mm on the F guide rail—Mafell calls it the only handheld circular saw in its class capable of cutting at least 100 mm even on the rail (manufacturer’s specification). These are cuts for which a carpenter’s saw had to be borrowed in the past.

The 2,300-watt CUprex motor drives the Ø 280-mm blade with group-toothed teeth through 100-mm cross-sections without slipping. The FLIPPKEIL prevents kickback, even during insertion—it flips away and back instead of having to be removed. 8.1 kg, 10 m cable included as standard.

Buying the Mafell saw at RUWI isn’t a given: We’re manufacturers ourselves—tools for woodworking professionals from Fluorn-Winzeln, 4 kilometers from the Mafell factory in Oberndorf am Neckar. We carry only what we can recommend from our own experience—and we deliberately draw the line on our product range where our practical experience ends.

Here's how to use it

  • 100 KVH in a single cut: 110 mm free-cut, 104 mm guided—without having to borrow the carpenter's saw.
  • Cutting insulation and sandwich panels: full material thickness on the rail, in a single pass.
  • Cutting heavy lumber: On the guide device L, up to 370 mm cutting length, with consistent repeatability.
  • Cuts cleanly without smearing: 280-grit blade with group-toothed design, FLIPPKEIL to prevent kickback.

Does this fit in your workshop?

The K 105 is the top model in our lineup—and also the point where it transitions to carpentry: This is where the MKS range begins, with sizes from 130 to 185 mm, which we have deliberately chosen not to carry. You can read why we draw the line exactly here on the page “What We Don’t Carry—and Why.” According to the manufacturer, it has no direct competitor—which is exactly why we’re telling you when you don’t need it: If your thickest material is 88 mm, the K 85 is cheaper and 1.3 kg lighter.

You can read about why your vacuum should be Dust Class M in the knowledge article on wood dust extraction —and the Machine Advisor will help you find the right saw by asking you two or three questions.
