Accessories

The idea behind it

The tabletop can also be mounted on “ lifting table ” frames from other manufacturers. Even on larger lift tables, you can install the tabletop with a drawer across it—or even two side by side. This way, you’ll always have a drawer within easy reach on the side, along with a sturdy work surface.

Reiner Ruggaber

The " RUWI " Basic Table Top with Drawer is a work and clamping surface measuring 1,200 × 800 mm with 96 chamfered holes (Ø 20 mm)—the same tabletop as the Basic Table Top, but here with a drawer and storage space directly below. This keeps clamping devices and tools within easy reach under the work surface, rather than at the other end of the workshop.

The 20-mmhole grid thrives on its accessories: clamping bolt —you can attach bench hooks, clamping brackets, and quick-release clamps at any grid position—and if these parts are stored in the drawer, they’re immediately at hand when you need to change the setup. The tabletop is made of multiplex with an HPL coating on both sides: scratch-resistant, moisture-resistant, and stress-balanced so it remains flat—and glue does not adhere to it; hardened residue simply flakes off. Manufactured in Germany, approx. 23 kg.

Here's how to use it

  • Change clamps without moving: Take the clamp out of the drawer, insert it into the next hole, and move on—the accessories are located right beneath the grid they need.
  • Gluing and assembly: The HPL surface provides a clean base—glue droplets peel off after curing.
  • Two tops, large surface area: On larger lift tables, the tops can also be placed side-by-side—two side-by-side create a continuous work surface with a drawer on each side.
  • Upgrade your DIY projects: When mounted on frames from other manufacturers or on a DIY workbench, the panel becomes a clamping station with built-in storage.

Does this go with your base frame?

The panel fits on the RUWI lifting table -base frame and on stands from other manufacturers; the grid follows the 20-mm standard, so accessories from Festool MFT, Sauter Variobench, and other 20-mm tables are compatible. If you don’t need the storage space, the Basic perforated panel is the sleek choice; the extendable Classic panel offers more length, while the Premium table top features a fold-out double surface. Accessories are shown in the lifting table system.
