Here's what's included
• 1 × support plate with centering pin
Place the RUWI metal work surface on your HPLlifting table when you’re doing rough work—repairs, metalwork, or working with oily or dirty parts. The galvanized steel plate (1,220 × 820 mm, 4 mm thick with a 1-mm insert plate) completely covers the HPL surface and protects it from scratches, oil, and dirt. Centering pins engage with the hole grid to align the plate precisely—just place it on top, and you’re done; no screws required.
The galvanized steel surface withstands solvents, oil, and heat better than the HPL panel underneath. The hole pattern on the support plate aligns with the 20-mm grid: The insert plate largely keeps small parts and chips from falling through, yet you can still continue to use the clamping system.
Here's how to use it
- From a carpenter's workshop to a mechanic's bay: Whether it's an engine, a garden tool, or a power tool on the workbench—the lawn mower's oil pan won't ruin tomorrow's gluing surface.
- Just place it on top instead of modifying it: Align the center pins with the grid, and the top fits—after the repair, lift it off, and the wooden table is back.
- Clamp as usual: the aligned holes accommodate the screw clamps and vertical toggle clamp — the clamping is done through the steel plate.
- Adjust the height: On the height-adjustable base frame , the heavy equipment comes to you—the carburetor at eye level instead of on the floor.
Does this go with your table?
