Accessories

The Erika 85 is the large under-table pull-through saw: 85 mm cutting height, 430 mm cutting length, 2,500 W. The workpiece is held securely against the stop, and the saw unit is pulled through from under the table. When locked in place at the rear, the same machine functions as a table circular saw for rip cuts. This allows you to make crosscuts, rip cuts, and bevel cuts up to 48° on the job site and in the workshop—in solid wood, panel materials, hardwood flooring and laminate, aluminum profiles, and plastic.

What sets the 85 apart from the 70: the 250 mm blade instead of 225 mm, the 915 mm-long table instead of 818 mm, and the factory-installed multifunction fence with a switchable angle lock. With it, you can cut two miter cuts without changing or adjusting the fence, for clean 90° joints. You can adjust the speed from 2,050 to 4,300 rpm, depending on the material and blade. After a power outage, the saw does not restart on its own; a sensor-controlled work light illuminates the cut, and the dust chute directs sawdust to the rear.

Here's how to use it

  • Boards and square lumber: 85 mm in a single pass; 59 mm at a 45° angle. Use the Z 24 saw blade for cutting, and the Z 60 for visible edges.
  • Set up at the assembly line: The Quickstand unfolds without tools, and you can level the uneven floor by applying pressure with your foot to the leveling mechanism. working height 891 mm; wheels at the rear. 40 kg with multifunctional stop.
  • Upgrade to a sawing workstation: The surrounding dovetail profile accommodates sliding carriages for cross-sections up to 905 mm, an extension table (requires two support and guide rails), and our RUWI table extension.
  • Dust extraction: Dust extraction connection Ø 58 mm; one dust extraction kit with two connectors is included. The Mafell S 35 M is listed as an accessory for the Erika. The reason why dust class M is recommended for wood dust is explained in the knowledge article on wood dust extraction.

Does this fit in your workshop?

If your thickest material is less than 72 mm and a cutting length of 330 mm is sufficient for you, the Erika 70, weighing 37.2 kg, is the lighter choice. The stops, sliding carriages, rip fence, and clamping rails are the same for both the 70 and 85 models; the extension table, saw blades, and dust extraction kit have their own part numbers. If you have an older Erika 70 or 85 with wing screws: The current stops and the bar holder (207507) with clamping lever are listed for both models; we’ll confirm over the phone whether they fit your machine based on the nameplate.
