45° fixed-tooth chamfering cutter with guide bearing

Brief description

The 45° chamfering cutter creates a 45° chamfer on edges—to round off sharp edges and create clean chamfers on solid wood, wood-based materials, and coated panels. With an outer diameter of 36.7 mm and a working length of 12 mm, you can create wide chamfers in a single pass. The guide ball bearing (Ø 12.7 mm) runs along the edge of the workpiece and guides the cutter even along curved contours where no stop fits.

The cutter is double-edged and carbide-tipped (HW), right-hand cutting, and permanently mounted—when it becomes dull, it is sent for regrinding instead of having to replace the indexable inserts. Its 8-mm-diameter shank fits in hand routers, bench routers, and the RUWI router table (8-mm collet) as well as on CNC machines. You can replace the ball bearing individually when it wears out.
