Chamfer cutter 45° with indexable insert and thrust bearing

Brief description

The chamfering bit creates a 45° chamfer on edges—to round off sharp edges and cleanly chamfer solid wood, wood-based materials, and coated panels. Instead of permanently brazed cutting edges, it features two carbide indexable inserts (12 × 12 mm): When an edge becomes dull, simply rotate the square insert—it offers four usable cutting edges before you need to replace it.

With an outer diameter of 32 mm and a cutting length of 12 mm, it can cut even wider chamfers in a single pass. The guide ball bearing (16 mm diameter) guides the cutter along an edge or template. The 8 mm shank fits in hand-held routers, bench routers, the RUWI router table, and CNC machines; it is clockwise-rotating.

The large 32-mm head delivers high cutting speeds and a clean chamfer finish on straight and wide contours.
