Packages are shipped via DHL or DPD and usually arrive within 1–2 business days. You'll receive a tracking number via email.

Large machines like the ERIKA are shipped via Schenker, usually arriving in about 3 business days. Upon request, the carrier can deliver on your preferred date—just coordinate the details with them by phone. If delivery is going to take longer, we’ll let you know in advance.

—36 months with no repair costs. This includes wear-and-tear parts: bearings, switches, carbon brushes, seals, and battery packs. Mafell covers pickup and return shipping to the factory service center (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Here’s how it works: You check the box when you buy, and we’ll register it. You’ll receive confirmation via email. All you need in the event of a warranty claim is the invoice and the confirmation.

Accessories

The basic set for the LO 55 in a box, all with 8-mmshank: 45° chamfering cutter (Ø 31 mm, effective length 9.5 mm), R 2 (Ø 16.7 mm) and R 4.8 (Ø 22.2 mm) rounding cutters, a flush trim bit (Ø 12.7 mm) with ball bearings, a groove cutter (Ø 10 mm), and a groove cutter (Ø 16 mm) with two cutting edges plus a bottom cutting edge and a 45 mm effective length. Also included is a replacement ball bearing set (Ø 12.7 mm).

Here's how to use it

  • Chamfering and rounding edges: 45° chamfer, R 2 for the fine edge, R 4.8 for the grip edge. Crosswise to the grain using the LO 55's Deboost function.
  • Flush milling: The ball bearing runs along the template or the protrusion.
  • slots: 10 mm for the back wall, 16 mm with a usable length of 45 mm for deeper slots in multiple passes.

Does this fit your router?

For the LO 55 and any router with an 8-mm spindle (collet). The LO 55 has exactly one 8-mm spindle ( collet), so an 8-piece set is the starter kit. Our 8-mm end mills ( RUWI ) fit into the same spindle ( collet).
