Large machines like the ERIKA are shipped via Schenker, usually arriving in about 3 business days. Upon request, the carrier can deliver on your preferred date—just coordinate the details with them by phone. If delivery is going to take longer, we’ll let you know in advance.

—36 months with no repair costs. This includes wear-and-tear parts: bearings, switches, carbon brushes, seals, and battery packs. Mafell covers pickup and return shipping to the factory service center (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Here’s how it works: You check the box when you buy, and we’ll register it. You’ll receive confirmation via email. All you need in the event of a warranty claim is the invoice and the confirmation.

Accessories

The EVA 150 E / 5 is an eccentric sander designed for material removal: Ø 150 mm, 5 mm oscillation stroke, 6,000 to 12,000 min⁻¹, 350 W, 2.1 kg. Coarse and fine sanding, intermediate sanding of painted surfaces, flat and curved surfaces, on panel materials, solid wood, veneer, paint, and gypsum filler. The vibration level is less than 2.5 m/s²; vibration absorbers isolate the handle area, and soft-grip inserts ensure a secure hold even when working overhead.

The ergonomically shaped auxiliary handle is removable. The adjustable edge guard protects the workpiece edge and the sanding pad. The built-in dust extraction system draws dust through the sanding pad’s multi-hole design into the UFB-1 universal filter bag; this keeps the abrasive from clogging as much and extends its service life.

Here's how to use it

  • Coarse grinding on the surface: 5 mm stroke at 12,000 min⁻¹. The Abranet set (P 60 to P 320) is included.
  • Curved surfaces: When used with the soft pad (accessory), the foam pad compensates for concave and convex shapes.
  • Abranet: A mesh fabric with approximately 24,000 holes; dust is drawn through the entire surface.

Does this fit in your workshop?

The /5 model, with a 5-mm stroke, is the machine for rough sanding; its sister model, the /3, with a 3-mm stroke, performs finer sanding and is available upon request. For edges, rebates, and inside corners, the UVA 115 E orbital sander with its rectangular plate is the more suitable tool. Abrasives, sanding pads, soft backing, and filter bags available upon request. T-MAX carrying case.
