Accessories

Window frames, muntins, rebates, narrow surfaces, and those inside corners where a round pad won’t fit: The UVA 115 E is the orbital sander for edges and details. Sanding surface 115 × 230 mm, 2.6 mm stroke, 2,000 to 12,000 oscillations per minute, 450 W, 2.7 kg. For corners, edges, and hard-to-reach areas, the 105 delta sanding pad is included, complete with its own abrasive and protective cover. Two machines in one case.

You can adjust the speed electronically using the detent function. When working with paint or plastic, reduce the speed; otherwise, heat will build up and the sandpaper will stick. Vibration dampers isolate the main handle from the auxiliary handle; at the rear handle, the vibration level remains at 1.9 m/s². Side channels in the sanding plate assist with dust extraction, and the UFB-1 filter bag, made of antistatic PP nonwoven fabric, allows up to 3 percent residual dust to pass through. The mechanical clamping mechanism secures the roll of sandpaper without allowing it to sag.

Here's how to use it

Windows and Frames: Abrasive sheets with hook-and-loop backing, 115 × 230 mm; the Abranet set (P 60 to P 320) is included.
All the way to the corner: Install the Delta Plate 105; the overhead mount in the T-MAX holds the machine in place while changing the abrasive.
Roll paper: Clamp it into the mechanical clamp.
Dust extraction: Standard connection, Ø 35 mm; the S 35 M fits there. The reason why dust class M is recommended for wood dust is explained in the article on wood dust extraction.

Does this fit in your workshop?

If you mainly sand edges, rebates, and profiles, the UVA alone is sufficient. For sanding surfaces and high material removal, we offer the EVA 150 E random-orbit sander. Abranet sanding media, UVA-SA 10 (093420) and UVA-SA Delta 105 (093421) sanding pads, and filter bags are available upon request.
