The RUWI horizontal toggle clamp with adapter plate presses your workpiece horizontally against a stop or a second workpiece—the anti-rotation version for the 20-mmhole grid. The round adapter plate (Ø 140 mm) is secured to the grid with two stainless steelclamping bolt (Ø 20 mm, SW 6 Allen screw): Two anchor points hold the tensioner in place even under lateral forces, where a single bolt might twist.

Using the plate’s elongated hole, you can freely position the pressure point anywhere between the grid holes—you’re not limited to the 96-mm dimension. The stroke compensation accommodates material thicknesses up to 35 mm, 13 mm of which are supported automatically without readjustment; with a length of 253 mm, you can also reach clamping points further inside.

Here's how to use it

  • Clamping under shear force: whether milling up against the stop or machining bulky parts, the two-point clamping system keeps the workpiece aligned—nothing shifts out of place.
  • Set the pressure point freely: the long slot allows the clamp continuously to slide between two grid holes—the pressure is applied precisely to the glue joint or edge, not beside it.
  • Batch timing: Open the lever, set to 13 mm automatic return stroke, change the part, close the lever—the setting remains the same.
  • Clamping workpieces of varying thicknesses: the 35 mm stroke compensation can accommodate workpieces of different dimensions without having to reposition the bolts.
